Chef Michael admired the original owners’ farm to table style and when it came up for sale he jumped at the opportunity! We wanted a comfortable place for our community and families to dine.  Five days a week we offer breakfast. Four days a week we offer lunch and dinner. Located on Harrison Avenue in Parksville, our menus feature local, sustainable, and seasonal Pacific Northwest ingredients. We are lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world and we want to celebrate it!

Graduating high school early to enrol in a Restaurant Management course at 17 years old, Angela dreamed of owning her own restaurant. Eager to see more he moved to Parksville and worked his way up the ranks in some of Oceanside’s top resorts. By 23 he was the Executive Chef of the 4½-star Beach Club Resort which earned him amazing opportunities.  Including the chance to meet and cook for Chef Lynn Crawford, and the crew, while she was filming the Scallops episode for her TV series Pitchin In. Michael was the opening Chef for Frankie’s Modern Diner, earning The Nanaimo Bulletins Best of City’s “Best Overall Restaurant” 2014 and 2015.
